*Gicle Technique: Airbrush in acrylics with gold and rainbow
flake size 3' X 4"' on tempered masonite." .It is done in a technique
developed specifically for this series. Each painting consists of a highly primed
and smoothly finished solid substrate. Over this pristine surface an acrylic airbrush
painting is done of the figure. The circle is done with gold metal flake. Her
gown is done with rainbow flake that turns various colors depending on the light
and the angle of view. The entire painting is then finished with multiple coats
of gloss medium (sanded in between layers) and finally sanded, buffed and polished
to the highest luster possible each painting has between 5 and 15 clear coats).
This causes the painting's surface to "disappears" leaving the viewer
to looking into the deep black background that melts like the void of space while
the metal flake glitter like the stars of the heavens. The gloss medium brings
the vividness of the colors to their highest intensity creating a finished effect
of brilliance and three dimensionality that is amazing. These paintings have a
radiance and beauty that celebrates the most beautiful woman in the world! They
must be seen in person to really appreciate their full effect!
